Wei Chen, Ph.D.
I'm currently working as a senior performance engineer at Akamai Technologies (NASDAQ:AKAM) in Cambridge MA. My current major project is building and solving large scale global resource allocation/capacity management/load balancing models for Akamai's Content Delivery Network (CDN). See an upcoming internal presentation here.
Previously I was a Research Fellow in Physics Research at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. My advisors were Professor Thomas Bortfeld and Professor David Craft. During my Ph.D. study, I have been working with Distinguished Professor Gabor T. Herman at the Discrete Imaging and Graphics Group at the Graduate Center of City University of New York. We also collaborated with Professor Yair Censor in the Department of Mathematics at University of Haifa.
My publications can be found at the Google Scholar page.
