Inverse Problems in Imaging
Thursdays 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. - 3 credit - Professor Gabor T. Herman
We discuss the problem of determining a three-dimensional object from its two-dimensional images obtained by some instrument. Examples of this problem manifest itself in many areas of science, engineering and medicine. We concentrate on computational algorithms for solving inverse problems.
